The Chinese divided the seasons into 24 solar terms, with Tuen Ng Festival marking a day of reconciliation between extreme energies. On this day, we have invited Hofan as our guide along a journey: beginning with a deep reconnection with the Heart as a source of fresh images; and allowing ourselves to move and be moved by these images through body, space and time. Conducted in Cantonese.

Hofan Chau is a dancer and theater practitioner as well as a teacher-practitioner of tai chi, reiki and heart imagery meditation. She studied at the Lecoq school of Paris well as the London International School of Performing Arts and is the artistic director of Burnt Mango Dance Theatre. In 2013 she met Yukio Waguri, a direct disciple of butoh founder Tatsumi Hijikata. She had the good fortune to receive trainings and dance under his direction in various performances.
