#2005 #Performance
In 2000, Theatre du Pif staged Krapp's Last Tape, which was described by Harold Pinter as "the most influential dramatic monologue of the 20th century". It tells the story of an old man's struggle to repossess his youth by searching through and listening to reels of audiotapes. As he relives his lost youth and wasted dreams, he desperately tries to reconcile with his younger self.
The Company further explored and developed the work with other two Beckett’s work to bring it on stage again in 2005.
