MACAU DEVISING THEATRE WORKSHOP 2007
Based on the Greek tragedy Antigone, this nine-day devising workshop explored the different elements that come together when making a theatre performance.

The workshop explored the interpretation of text, acting, body expression and movement and the non verbal sensitivity between performers.

Antigone's brother lies where he fell in rebellion against the state, and King Creon - her uncle - outlaws his burial. Her appalling dilemma: obey Creon, and offend against the gods or follow her heart, and plunge her accursed family into a fresh cycle of violence.

There was a final presentation showing to an invited audience at the end of the workshop.
